This weeks lecture?
Once again, all over the shop.
Its reasoning often confuses me but any who.
I'm thinking today was about software.
Like Microsoft, Abode Photoshop blah blah blah.
We checked out open & closed sourced software.
Defined by our lovely online super brain wikipedia
Open Sourced Software: is an approach to the design, development, and distribution of software, offering practical accessibility to a software's source code.

Open Sourced Software: is an approach to the design, development, and distribution of software, offering practical accessibility to a software's source code.
Closed Sourced Software : is a term for software whose license does not allow for the release or distribution of the software's source code. Generally, it means only the binaries of a computer program are distributed and the license provides no access to the program's source code.
& for those who aren’t huge wiki fans
From Science in Africa (keeping it multicultural here)
Closed source software (i.e. Microsoft Windows and Office) is developed by a single person or company. This software is normally copyright or patented and is legally protected as intellectual property. The owner of the software distributes the software directly or via vendors to you the end user. You cannot legally give it away, copy it or modify it in any way unless you have a special licence or permission to do so.
Open Source software is almost the opposite (i.e. Redhat Linux, Open Office) and is free to use and distribute provided that certain conditions are met.
Pretty much stealing software OR downloading free homebrand style software.
Websites like http://www.portableapps.com/ have trillions of different portable applications (no they didn't go all fall out boy & randomly name their website) that are free to download and use. There funding comes from donations made online by consumers, and probably someone's sugar daddy
Examples of these apps are;
Eraser Portable - Erase anything/ everything off the hard drive
Open Office - Like Microsoft but free.
GIMP Portable - Imaged editor packaged as a potable app
Blender - Small scale animations
Now for some reason, that escapes me at the moment, in my notes I have written;
Dog breading essay lost = homeless= crack whore = one leg = inspirational story = shot.
I'm thinking it has something to do with the fact that even when you think you've deleted something off your computer (accidently like an essay or on purpose like porn) there are different software programs that can help you get them back, good if you need your essay. Not so much if your wife finds you midget albinos porn fetish.
Also in the notes we have Sourceforge- software making community.
I'm picturing a miniature fairy like land of people making software while singing & eating there dinner around a camp fire on a computer screen. Its probably not like that but hey a girl can dream right?
Actually its “your location to download and develop free open source software”
It could still be magical though =[
And to end our note taking.
All computers have viruses.
People just don't care.
Inspirational no?
Just realised, theres no pictures in here, it looks sad.
So im adding this just for fun =D
And one at the start, that you probably saw and thought i was crazy.
